How does It work?
The Spectra laser targets your tattoo ink with short, powerful light pulses. It breaks the ink into tiny particles without damaging your skin. Your body clears those fragments naturally through the lymphatic system. Sessions are quick, spaced 6-10 weeks apart, and the tattoo gradually fades over time—often significantly lighter or barely noticeable.

Conditions it treats

The laser feels like a quick sting, similar to a rubber band snap. Most areas are well tolerated without numbing, but we do offer a topical agent for comfort. You can expect redness, a frosty look, swelling or slight pinpoint bleeding right after. The downtime is minimal. Following the aftercare instructions can speed healing and help minimise possible side effects.
FAQ
Which areas can be treated?
Body & Face
What does the treatment feel like?
Laser tattoo removal may cause some discomfort, which varies based on the treated area and individual skin sensitivity. Many describe it as a mild sting, similar to a rubber band snap.
To enhance comfort, a topical anesthetic can be applied before treatment. Over-the-counter pain relievers may help, but avoid aspirin and anti-inflammatory drugs, as they increase bleeding and bruising risk.
Pain levels depend on your tolerance, tattoo size, and location, but most find removal no more painful than getting the tattoo itself. Sessions are also much shorter.
Our team is here to answer any questions and ensure your comfort throughout the process.
How many treatment will I need?
The number of laser tattoo removal sessions needed depends on factors like size, location, depth, age, color and experience of tattoo artist. Tattoo ink is made up of stacked pigment particles, giving it a dark, concentrated appearance. Because of this, the laser gradually breaks the pigment down over multiple treatments. It is important to note that some tattoos might be completely removed, while others might only fade.
As your body heals, the tattoo will fade more after each session. Waiting several weeks between treatments allows your body time to remove ink fragments. Since tattoo removal is a gradual process, multiple sessions may be needed for optimal results.
Each session lasts 10–30 minutes and is best spaced 6–10 weeks apart. Darker colors tend to fade faster, while some shades are more challenging to treat. Your laser technician will customize your treatment based on your skin type and condition to ensure the best outcome.
Is there downtime associated with the laser tattoo removal?
The treatment area will be slightly sore for approximately 1-2 weeks. However, it will not hinder day-to-day life.
You should see visible results approximately 5-6 weeks after treatment.
Potential side effects include: blistering, swelling, and bruising.
Aftercare tips
To minimise swelling and bruising, apply a cold compress or ice packs. Prevent infection by keeping the treated area clean and dry, applying an antibiotic ointment, and covering it with a sterile dressing daily for three days after each treatment.
Use SPF-30 sunscreen for two months to protect the treated skin and avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, and hot tubs for 3 to 7 days.
Refrain from washing the treated area for the first 24 hours and avoid picking any blistered skin, which can disrupt healing and potentially cause infection.
